|Conduit by Terrie Boddie|
CCNY 2012 Annual Benefit
Tuesday, December 11, 2012
6 - 8 pm ET @ 25 CPW Gallery
As part of my MFA internship requirements this past summer I helped build the Camera Club of New York 2012 Annual Benefit photo auction website. Aside from getting to know this organization run by photographers for photographers, I was able to discover the work of people like Terry Boddie, a Caribbean artist who uses photography as a starting point for his mixed media pieces. His piece "Conduit" (above) will be on sale at the auction tonight.
Other favorites images of mine in the auction include Tiana Markova Gold, Jessie Cesario, I-Hsuen Chen, Pinar Yolaçan and TrujilloPaumier. I will be working behind the scenes at the auction tonight so stop by if you're in town. It will be exciting to see these images in person... and who knows, you might start building your photography collection tonight!
