For those of you who don't know what a podcast is, here's a quick definition from Wikipedia:
"A podcast is a type of digital media consisting of an episodic series of files (either audio or video) subscribed to and downloaded through web syndication or streamed online to a computer or mobile device."
Podcasts are a great alternative to regular radio stations, much of which are just full of commercials trying to sell you stuff you don't want or need. You can download podcasts through the iTunes store or through alternative directories like podcast.com. For me, podcasts are my favorite subway entertainment.
Some of you may remember that in 2008 I blogged enthusiastically about my all-time favorite photography podcast The Candid Frame. Four years later I'm so freaking excited to say that the host, Ibarionex Perello, has interview little 'ol me in episode # 137 posted April 15, 2012.
In this podcast, I go into detail about what inspired me to launch this blog plus I also talk about my own photography work and my current experience as an MFA student. Listen to my interview on The Candid Frame - this is a link to download the MP3 file.
Be sure to subscribe to The Candid Frame podcast and check out the other photographers featured!
